Bishop Auckland College visit

On Wednesday 15th March I had the great pleasure of fulfilling and invitation to visit Bishop Auckland College and speak to Level 2 and HND Photography students.

My friend John Alderson, as well as being North East Wedding Photographer of the Year, is a lecturer in photography at the college. It was his idea to invite me along, take a look at the brilliant work the students are producing, and provide a talk and presentation on using expired film and my approach to Intentional Camera Movement (ICM).

I thoroughly enjoyed my day there and was genuinely impressed by the level at which the students are working. It was great that they were open minded about techniques and mediums and willing to experiment and work outside most photographers’ comfort zones. I hope the students got something out of my visit.
